Please, Sir, I want some Bonobo!
Specifically, I want to go to the Bonobo retreat. I've never been before, and I really, really want to go this year. But money is super tight--I can't make it happen by myself.
So I'm asking for your help, please! I need what amounts to a full-ride scholarship to make this happen. Any amount will help; the full price of the ticket is $650 (they ran out of discounted volunteer roles before I made up my mind to go), so that's what I'm asking for.
All funds raised here will go to paying for the ticket. If by some chance I receive more money than I need, I'll accept up to $100 more to help whoever gives me a ride pay for gas; after that, if it's still coming in, I'll refund it. Though I'm not expecting that. Likewise, if I can't raise enough funds to go to the retreat after all, I'll send back everyone's money.
Here's how money can be sent to me:

But wait, there's more! There will be thank-you gifts! No, you don't have to accept one; I won't be offended. And everybody will receive my gratitude, no matter how much they contribute. But for anyone who is interested in my handmade stuff, I've set up a whole system of donation levels and everything, just like KQED. See how clever I am?
Here's what I'm offering for a donation of $25:
A set of three hand-sewn greeting cards
OR
A frankenstuffie
For a donation of $50:
A set of three handmade patchwork coasters
OR
A patchwork potholder
For a donation of $100:
A handmade scarf
OR
A small fine-art textile collage
For a donation of $200:
Me!
One hour of my service, terms to be mutually agreed upon. Possible services could include house cleaning, cooking a meal, running errands, giving you a massage, or...??? Let's negotiate!

Again, I appreciate all donations, large or small. In fact, I appreciate you even reading this far. Thanks! And I hope I'll see you at the retreat!
